As a sneak peek for the later upcoming pieces, here's the reveal of the first-ever piece created in honor of the BattleTech universe. The piece is the largest, heaviest, thickest, and most complicated one I've ever created. It is stunning in person: overwhelming and huge. With any luck, you'll be able to see it in person as Catalyst Game Labs heads out on the convention circuit.

The steps that go into making one piece depend on how complicated the pieces is, but this video will give an overview of how a plain piece of plexiglass becomes a work of art.
The 'Mech was just the first — there are 16 mini pieces still being completed, along with giant Shadowrun and Leviathans pieces.
Welcome to Veiled Resin, the home of a totally unique and one-of-a-kind art style, never before seen in the art world. To build his works, artist Steven Michael Bohls combines carefully carved acrylic sheets and inlayed layers of epoxy resin, creating visually stunning art pieces that remain hidden — even from him — until he is ready to unveil them to the world after days of carving, color building, mixing, pouring, and drying.
November 20-21: Dragonsteel, The Salt Palace Convention Center in Salt Lake City, UT
